Board Cleaning. Better.

Following the successful rollout of the TEK-BC-20/C bare PCB board cleaner 2 years prior, we were challenged to completely redesign and re-engineer the machine to reduce costs, manufacturing time and improve usability and reliability.

Results:

TEK-OS MK2 developed:
- UI completely redesigned following customer research, to speed up Operator Interaction Time (improving their efficiency) – through new program customisation, streamlined cleaning settings adjustment and rich onscreen animations to communicate machine state at a glance.
- Machine control moved to a new more reliable PLC with completely new codebase and new height control sensing
Part costs cut by 1/3. Build time cut by 300% with new modular build structure.
Re-engineered drive system – resulting in 10 year Guarantee bond.
